Thank you so much! I am working remotely and there is no internet access and I just “expected” that my old Optus usb modem would work. I thought that I would never get this set up for work tomorrow but thankfully you have made the difference in a matter of minutes. I am so glad I found this page!

Hi, a friend gave me her E180 + her South African simcard to use in South Africa.
I’ve followed the instructions – everything ok, but I noticed that from the start instead of saying “not connected” it says ‘not configured” under HUAWEI MOBILE in the list of devices. There are also 2 other devices listed ie DIAG and PCUI…..and yes the green light keeps flashing. Am totally clueless re these things and would like to know wot to do next.
