I solved the problem by updating Xcode developer toolset, the version is Xcode 4 and iOS SDK 4.3.

awesome! I nearly sat the whole day figuring out what’s going wrong. Now everything works.

I don’t understand however why you remove the icon.png reference. Works for me even with the icon set.
